Hafada Piercing has long arrived in society. If you want something special in terms of piercing, you will quickly come across genital piercings. The Hafada piercing is particularly popular with men.
Hafada piercing – what is it?
The Hafada piercing is a genital piercing for men.
Several names know it:
- Hafada piercing
- Scrotum piercing
- Scrotum Piercing
- Scrotal piercing
This piercing is stung through the skin of the scrotum.
The scrotum piercing does not have a unique erotic attraction. The closer it is stung to the penis shaft, the more likely it will be felt during intercourse. In itself, the scrotum piercing is simply an optical ornament.
Hafada Piercing – the piercing
The stinging of the scrotal piercing is uncomplicated. In the first step, the area to be pierced is disinfected. The puncture site and the exit site are then marked.
Now the piercing clamp is used. It is used to fix the area of skin to be exposed. The piercing is finally pierced with a hollow piercing needle, and then the jewellery is inserted.
The Hafada is not stung very deep. Nevertheless, it has almost no tendency to grow out, as the skin of the scrotum is hugely flexible.
The healing of the Hafada piercing is usually straightforward. The healing phase usually takes around 6-16 weeks.
The reason for the sometimes relatively long healing time is the location of the piercing. The fresh piercing hardly comes to rest on the scrotum and is constantly exposed to pressure from panties and pants and movement.
Critical during the entire healing phase:
Without exception, only touch the piercing with disinfected and previously washed hands. Sexual intercourse is taboo, especially in the first two weeks, due to the risk of infection.
Let your piercer give you detailed advice on the healing process and the proper care before the piercing. If you follow the hygiene and care instructions and adequately care for the piercing, you will quickly get through the healing phase and, above all, without complications.
Hafada Piercing – the care
Proper care is essential so that you can enjoy your new scrotal piercing for a long time. Several unfavourable factors come together in the scrotum: moisture from sweating, warmth and proximity to the anus.
Tips for caring for the Hafada piercing
- no blood-thinning medication, no alcohol, no drugs for the first two days after the lancing
- please do not exert yourself in the first few days – the risk of rebleeding
- Also, no activities that stress the piercing site, such as cycling
- no intercourse for the first two weeks after piercing. This also includes oral sex!
Use of Ph-neutral soaps
- no soap directly on the wound. Always rinse with clean water
- no visit to the solarium in the first three weeks
- no bathing in the tub, lake or sea for six weeks
A barbell or a ball closure ring are usually used as piercing jewellery for the Hafada.
The thickness of the jewellery should not be less than 1.6 mm thick.
The Hafada piercing is also very suitable for stretching, even if this variant is still scarce. Another variant is the stringing together of several Hafada piercings to form a scrotal ladder.
